Park (5/8/09)

Well...it was another warm day!
So we decided to go to the park.
It is SO awesome to live in a neighborhood that has a park
4 houses down from where we live!

My Aunt Freda and Cousin Corina (and her boys) decided to take
Grandma to the Country Club for lunch to celebrate her late
husband's birthday...he would have been 95! (passed in 1992)
They invited us!
We had SO much fun!

Easter weekend we always stay at Tim's relatives house...
in Spokane (WA).
Terry, Tim's Great Uncle, is pretty gullible...and
he gets upset pretty fast.
So at 2am when I got up to feed Stella...
I saw that there were 2 mini size Snicker bars in a bowl.
So I decided to chew them up a bit...
and put them in HIS bathroom!
It was SO funny in the morning when he found it!

February 21st, My dad, Nina, and I went to a hockey game.

Now...it wasn't as awesome as the New Years Eve game we went to,

BECAUSE...there were no fights!

We won though...so thats good.

Pediatric Unit

On Feb. 5th, Stella, Nina, and myself went to the dr.

for a cough and a few other misc. things...

They gave Stella a breathing treatment to open her lungs up.

That night she was breathing worse...

so I took her to the ER and we were there from 630pm until 12 30am.

Sent us home...

"nothing we can do for her because she doesnt have a fever"...

So Friday we went back to the Dr. for a check up (per. ER instructions)

and they couldnt believe they didn't do a breathing treatment!

So they sent us home with a nebulizer machine and medicine.

That evening she came down with a fever and the

on-call dr. told us to go straight to the ER.

We got there at 9 15pm and by 2am she was admitted into the peds. unit.

Hi Baby Girl!

Our hospital room...

yes, I had my OWN bed!!!

See my laptop?! HAD to bring that because my

FRIENDS are in there...hahahaha

All in All...shes doing really well. They said she had bronchiolitis.

(bronchial infection)..something like that. They were just scared

about her getting or having RSV. It was really hard for me to be there

while Tim and Nina were at home without me and Stella.

Valentines Day Project

I saw this project with these crayons on a blog I frequent...

called Elle's Studio. LOVE the stuff on there!

Anyways, I made these for all the kids in Nina's class.

Got the heart silicone "pan" from walmart

Got these alphabet ones from Sillycone

I made the first letter of each child's name...also her teachers names.

I got this metal mailbox from the Dollar Spot at Target.

I altered it with stuff I had in my scrapbook room

and put her teachers initials on it.

(Made one for her Friday teacher, but forgot pictures)

Movie Date

Tim really wanted to go to the movies.

And he picked Gran Torino.

I've only seen previews on TV...hadn't heard or read reviews.

So I agreed to go.

I am SO glad he picked that movie.

First Park Visit of 2009

Monday Jan. 12th was SO warm! 60 degrees!

So it was Tim's last day off of work so we took

the girls to the park down from our house.

Nina was SO excited to go!

from our California friends...Nina and her family!
